Carl got his start in racing in 2003 racing 270cc micro sprints. He continued racing 270s through the end of 2004, and accumulated 9 wins. The 2005 season marked the beginning of a new era for Carl, as he cut his teeth in the world of winged 410 sprints.
Carl’s first season won him the coveted Lernerville Rookie of the Year Award, after finishing every race in 2005. His sophomore campaign saw his first career victory on August 18th at Lernerville Speedway, and he finished 3rd in driver points for 2006. Carl finished the 2007 season with just one heat race win, but had eleven top 5 finishes. 2008 wasn’t the best season for Bowser Motorsports, but Carl still managed to pick up his second career feature with a win at Mercer Raceway Park.
The 2009 campaign was a career best for the Boggsville Bullet, as he grabbed an early season victory at Lernerville on May 22nd. Carl also won two of the last three races of the season at Mercer Raceway Park, winning the Bill Emig Memorial for the second season in a row, and taking home the Western Pennsylvania Championship checkered. The Bowser Motorsports #10 completed the 2009 season with 11 top-5’s and 20 top-10 finishes.
For the 2010 tour, Carl and the crew have high expectations, setting their sights on consistency and bringing home as many wins as possible.
